Units = (balance × risk %) ÷ (|entry − stop| × conversion).

Linear products only. For EUR/USD, units are EUR; for gold, use the units in your broker’s contract specification. Conversion means account-currency units for 1 quote-currency unit. A value of 1 applies when both currencies match. Fees, slippage and lot-step rounding are excluded.
